G&O - Gestão de Obras was constituted in 1987 by a group of professionals with significant accumulated experience from large companies in the field of Project Management in Portugal and Africa.
In the early years, its object was the Construction Industry and Public Works, Planning, Management and Coordination of Civil Construction Works, Engineering Projects, real estate purchase, sale and resale of the acquired.
From 1987 to 2005, the activity developed essentially focused on the Preparation, Project Management and Project Management of various commercial works, Town Councils and construction of private houses. The activity also developed in the area of the Conception and Construction Management, associated with responsibilities of permanent maintenance of several commercial spaces.
From 2005 to 2007, G&O concentrated only in the area of Project Management in hospital, industrial and real estate projects. From 2007 to 2009, the Project Management activity continued with projects related to insurers, hospitals and real estate.
In 2010, G&O enlarged its functions to Representative of the Construction Owner and Supervisor in several projects linked to Real Estate Fund Investment Companies, an activity also developed in parallel with Supervision actions in private works.
As a result of the responsibilities, of the Representative of the Construction Owner, G&O also started to work in the area of Technical Assistance, assuming, in several private works, Project Follow-up functions associated with Market Consultations, that tend to the process of job award.
During 2012, an emphasis was given to the work for Real Estate Fund Managers, with actions in the scope of the Representation of the Construction Owner, Inspection and Technical Advice. In the area of private works, the development of Project Follow-ups, Market Consultation and Inspection was maintained. In May of this same year, G&O obtained the Certification in the Quality Management System NP EN ISO 9001: 2008.
