CINCOS 2016 - One more successful edition

On the 3rd and 4th November the 5th edition of the Congress of Innovation on Sustainable Construction (CINCOS’16), organized by the Sustainable Habitat Cluster, took place in Lisbon, where various entities presented works in the areas of Sustainable Cities, Innovation and Sustainability, Efficient Use of Resources and Circular Economy as new challenges for the Habitat value chain. The congress saw extensive participation of 150 people.
 
It also took place a debate about Cooperation for Competitiveness with the participation of international clusters, which the Habitat Cluster has developed relationships with. In this debate, the different strategies of the clusters were discussed according to the realities of their regions and Cooperative Initiatives.
 
 
The Sustainable Habitat Cluster took the opportunity to assign, for the first time, a recognition award to Prof. Alberto Reaes Pinto, professor of the Lusíada University of Lisbon, for his contribution to sustainability as an architect and as a promoter of education and innovation for sustainability.
