FSC® organizes Business Forum on sustainable options for the construction and furniture sector

“Forest For All Together” is the motto for yet another FSC Friday celebrated on the 25th of September, through the realization of a Business Forum that aims to present sustainable alternatives in the construction and furniture sector and alert to the urgency of finding a balance between the need for consumption and a sustainable future.

 

 

 

Sustainability and Competitiveness, Green Deal, Innovation & Design in the application of forest materials and FSC Project Certification, are the key themes of the event, which will culminate in a Round Table where national and international players will be invited to share the position of their Organizations on sustainable options for the construction and furniture sector, and its commitment to FSC.

This FSC Portugal initiative has the support and participation of the Sustainable Habitat Cluster, as well as several certified organizations, such as 2BForest, Fibromade, Finieco, Intervenner, Sonae Arauco and Unimadeiras, highlighting the importance of forest certification and its contribution to a responsible forest management.
