In the scope of the PME Digital Project, of which the Sustainable Cluster Habitat is a partner, on 20th and 26th September and 19th October, Sensitization, Information and Training Sessions for Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0 will be held.

The PME Digital project is co-financed by the COMPETE2020 program and aims to train, provide information and increase the entrepreneurial skills of SMEs to adopt strategies, measures, technologies and tools I4.0, encouraging the digital transformation in SMEs and the acceleration of the Portuguese Economy for a Digital Economy in the Automotive, Materials, Raw Materials and Commerce sectors.

The main objectives of the sessions are:

- Inform, in a pragmatic and in a peer-to-peer manner, the potential for saving/differentiation through digital transformation and the adoption of strategies, measures, technologies and tools I4.0.

- Transferring good practices and assessing the level of maturity of SMEs for Digital Transformation.

- Train entrepreneurs on the solutions and processes available, necessary for an effective positioning in relation to the critical factors of competitiveness in the global market.

This project is promoted by the ISQ, TICE.PT- Cluster das Tecnologias de Informação Comunicação e Eletrónica and by Escola Superior de Media Artes e Design do Instituto Politécnico do Porto. It also has the support of several entities such as Cluster Automóvel- MOBINOV, Cluster Habitat Sustentável and Cluster Portugal Mineral Resources, IDC- International Data Corporation and Inova+. Câmara Municipal de Viana do Castelo o PCI- Creative Science Park Aveiro Region and PACT- Parque do Alentejo de Ciência e Tecnologia, also support communication actions.
