3rd Coordinating Meeting of the DEGREN Project

On June 13, the 3rd Coordinating Meeting of the DEGREN Project took place at the headquarters of FUNDECYT-PCTEX, in Badajoz, where the partners from the regions concerned, such as the Sustainable Habitat Cluster, were present.

This coordination meeting was organized in parallel with the Technical Conferences about "Environmental Awareness" for companies and conferences for the presentation of the DEGREN project, so that the partners could also participate in them.

During the meeting, the partners involved revealed the state of development and the progress of the different activities, which in this first phase of implementation were focused on raising awareness of the concept of Ecodesign, holding ecodesign awareness workshops in the three regions, as well as producing content that will shape the Observatory, which will contain information on trends, scientific articles, legislation, help and other related topics.

Other activities addressed during the meeting, were the Ideas Laboratory, which will house a virtual awareness space to develop innovative capacity and value creativity as a resource in the production of new sustainable products or services  in the Laboratory. The aim is to develop a stable and coordinated infrastructure to facilitate medium and long-term cross-border cooperation between R&D agents and enterprises.,

In parallel, other activities that are being organized are the initial and advanced training courses in Portugal, and soon in Extremadura the 1st edition of the Course on "Ecodesign and Life Cycle Analysis", in two levels: Initiation and Advanced, which will have as a resource the preparation of a Support Manual.

All of these results will be progressively available in the different sections activated at the project site.
