DAPHabitat System registers another Environmental Product Declaration - LECA Portugal, S.A.

LECA Portugal, S.A. got a registration Environmental Product Declaration in the DAPHabitat System, the Portuguese DAP registration system, managed by the Platform for Sustainable Construction (Sustainable Cluster Management entity). This system was developed for Habitat products and is part of a European network of DAP registration program operators.
LECA Portugal SA DAP covers a LECA® Expanded Light Clay Aggregate. Here we can find the environmental impacts of the product, divided by impact categories, as well as information about the use of resources (energy, water and materials) in the production of the aggregates.
The DAP was developed and verified according to the Product Category Rules: base model for construction products and services, the Product Category Rules: Thermal Insulation and the standards to ISO 14025, EN 15804: 2012 + A1: 2013 and EN 15942 .
