Lean.Co | Seminar "Lean Construction Challenges"

On September 21, more than 40 people were present at the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Aveiro for the Seminar "Lean Construction Challenges", the final seminar of the European project Lean.Co (Erasmus + Program), of which Sustainable Habitat Cluster is a partner. This project aimed at the development of a training action in Lean methodology for construction.

This seminar speakers were Eng. Fernanda Rodrigues do Dep. Eng. Civil of the Universty of Aveiro, the Eng. Pedro Mêda from CONSTRUCT / GEQUALTEC - Construction Institute, Architect Cláudia Antunes from Stratbond Consulting, Lda. and Eng. Miguel Pires of the Grupo Casais.

 

Participants had the opportunity to learn about the various aspects and approaches to "Lean Construction" through the lectures: "Lean Construction Management", "From Traditional Procurement Procedures to Integrated Project Delivery", "BIM in Architecture: An Integrated Vision "And" BIM and Lean: A Practical Case in Construction".

The Sustainable Habitat Cluster would like to thank the participants and speakers of this seminar for their presence and availability and also thank all those who have been involved in this project, such as the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción - Navarra (Spain), ACP Navarra- Asociación de Constructores y Promotores de Navarra (Spain), Warsaw University of Technology (Poland) and Tipee - Technological & Innovative Platform for Environmental Efficiency (France).
