September 16th is the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer!
This September 16th, the Sustainable Habitat Cluster celebrates the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer!
The reduction of this layer in the atmosphere causes impacts on the environment, such as the reduction of species, contribution to global warming and also impacts on human health.
Therefore, in 1987, the Montreal Protocol was signed, which commits to eradicating the use and production of products that damage the ozone layer.
The members of the Sustainable Habitat Cluster have also taken on responsibilities in this area, adopting increasingly more environmentally friendly practices.
