Project Overview:
The project aims to promote sustainable construction in terms of energy efficiency, disseminating the construction practices to be adopted, as well as the construction systems and respective materials that guarantee better energy performance in buildings, as well as demonstrating the benefits of the applications for the end consumer and society.
Activities to be carried out:
1) Publicizing the project among agents involved in the construction sector.
2) Monitoring existing construction solutions. Carrying out studies such as energy audits, assessment of the thermal and energy behavior of buildings, assessment of indoor air quality, assessment of acoustic behavior, energy simulation of buildings.
3) Study of sustainable and innovative improvement measures that promote energy efficiency.
4) Monitoring proposed solutions. Implementation of improvement measures in buildings with a view to monitoring their thermal, acoustic and indoor air quality performance.
5) Drawing up a manual of good construction practices.
6) Dissemination and awareness-raising actions to disseminate the project’s results.
